Explora Journeys, the MSC Group’s luxury lifestyle brand, has announced a partnership with the renowned Italian michelin-star chef Mauro Uliassi to create a unique culinary experience for guests on board EXPLORA I. From the Maiden Journey on 17 July 2023 until arrival in New York on 25 September 2023, guests can enjoy Chef Uliassi’s menu at Anthology, one of 11 culinary experiences offered on board.
As the first guest chef at Anthology, Chef Uliassi and his team will showcase an innovative blend of traditional and modern Italian cuisine, reflecting his passion for the sea and respect for the environment. His cuisine celebrates the ocean’s unique flavours and textures, making him a perfect match for Explora Journeys’ sustainable and locally sourced dining ethos, while creating a culinary “Ocean State of Mind.”

The Restaurant & Culinary Experience: Anthology
Dining at Anthology is an exclusive and enriching experience, separate from the inclusive culinary options, with a tasting menu priced at EUR 190 per person and a wine pairing option at EUR 75 per person.
The naming ceremony for EXPLORA I will take place in Civitavecchia, near Rome, Italy on 8th July 2023, followed by its Maiden Journey departing from Southampton on 17th July 2023, for a 15-night voyage into Norwegian fjords and the Arctic Circle, concluding in Copenhagen, Denmark.
