Thanks to the adventurous spirit of three brothers in a small town on the shores of Oslofjord in Norway, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines have been sailing the world for over 175 years. Every little thing they have learned along the way has informed the way they cruise today and goes into making each day special for their guests.

SMALLER SHIPS

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines firmly believe that smaller is better, and that the most wonderful way to explore all that the world has to offer is on their fleet of smaller ships. Never sailing with more than 1,400 guests on board, the atmosphere on board is always warm, personal and friendly. Their fleet of smaller ships can also sail right into the heart of some of the world’s most incredible destinations and along narrow waterways, such as the River Seine or the Kiel Canal.

Olsen Cruise Lines team of dedicated Journey Planners take a fresh look at the world, researching all of the wonderful destinations and waterways it has to offer, and planning itineraries to tie in exciting cultural events and natural phenomena. Olsen want their guests to sail the most imaginative routes and visit the world’s most wonderful destinations at the very best possible times to see them – such as visiting Canada to witness the famous ‘Fall’ season or heading up to Northern Norway in search of the Northern Lights when they are at their strongest and most visible.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines know that trying a new cruise line can sometimes feel a little risky for guests, especially if they have enjoyed sailing with others. They are so confident you will enjoy the way they cruise, that they make you a promise. If after a couple of days on board, you find that it is not right for you, they will fly you home at their expense from the next available port and your cruise fare will be refunded in full*
