Princess Cruises‘ latest vessel Sky Princess, previously home-ported in the US, is coming over to Britain in summer 2021 following deployment changes amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Sky Princess will begin sailing from Southampton, resulting in new itineraries that include journeys across the British Isles and the Baltics.
10 of Crown Princess British Isles voyages in 2021 will be moved to Sky Princess departing on the same dates, whilst the remaining Sky Princess Baltic cruises will change from 11-day Copenhagen departures to 12-day itineraries from Southampton.
In addition, guests booked on Crown Princess Western Europe Passage will be moved to Regal Princess Western Europe Passage departing on 23 October 2021.
Princess Cruises’ UK and Europe vice-president Tony Roberts said:
Sky Princess will now be sailing from Southampton in summer 2021 (alongside Regal Princess). Fantastic to have our newest ship sailing from the UK on a mixture of British Isles and Baltic itineraries.
These changes have led to voyage cancellations on both Crown Princess and Sky Princess, and guests who have been affected will be updated in due course.
The new Southampton departures on Sky Princess to the British Isles and Baltic are expected to go on sale later this month.
