1. Lights, camera, action!

The premiere of The Greatest Showman took place onboard Queen Mary 2 in 2017. It was actually the first time a Hollywood movie premiere had taken place on a passenger ship.

2. Bright Lights, Big City

A new entertainment space will be coming soon on Queen Anne, the Bright Lights Society. This will be an exciting show bar with bold electric light installations.

3. A Fur-tastic adventure

Queen Mary 2 allows your furry, four-legged friends to travel in style. There are 24 kennels onboard, including a space to play and an owner’s lounge. Not to mention, a British lamppost from the Cunard building in Liverpool and a New York City fire hydrant to stop them getting homesick!

4. Silent Symphonies

Whilst the Cunard Queens house some of the liveliest nightclubs at sea, guests can also enjoy a silent disco. These can be found in G32 on Queen Mary 2 and in the Yacht Club on board Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.

5. If it’s good enough for David Bowie…

A lot of famous faces have travelled with Cunard over the year. This includes David Bowie, Sir Winston Churchill, Elizabeth Taylor and Ed Sheeran! When Ed was onboard, he had his own recording studio onboard. Climb onboard and see if you can do any celeb spotting!

6. Brilliant Bellhops

Bellhops onboard are synonymous with Cunard’s fleet and have been since 1930. They are always there to welcome guests onboard and assist with any baggage or queries.

7. The Helm is hers

Captain Inger Klein Thorhauge, Cunard’s first ever female captain, will be at the helm of Queen Anne. She recently celebrated 25 years of service and has also been Captain of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.

8. A cup of tea solves everything

Enough tea is consumed each year on Cunard’s fleet to fill an Olympic-size swimming pool.

9. Where the wild things are

In 1963, Cunard transported a very special guest, Jimmy the Hippo, from Naples to Chester Zoo. He travelled on deck with an awning over his cage and received regular cold showers.

10. Cheers to Cunard!

On board Queen Elizabeth 327 bottles of champagne, 297 bottles of red wine and 327 bottles of white wine are consumed every day. Here’s to raising a glass on board Queen Anne – cheers!
